Mm: Malarkey

Definition:  Speech or writing designed to obscure, mislead, or impress.  However, when an Irishman employs malarkey to win a lady's favor, the usual definition does not apply.  Malarkey is then defined as overzealous blarney. Cocktail Party Use: Stop that malarkey O'Sullivan.  Just tell the story straight no chaser.
